Gluten free bakery

It can be a real challenge to locate a gluten free bakery nearby. But the good news now is that if you are looking for delicious gluten free cake delivered to your door, then look no further! All our gluten free cakes are baked on-site in our gluten free bakery at The Creamery Can and they can be delivered to your doorstep anywhere throughout the UK and Ireland!

We opened our little coffee shop, The Creamery Can, on our organic dairy farm in County Antrim, Northern Ireland in June 2014. We love all things home-baked and home-made and so we are always dreaming of ways to delight all our customers with delicious bakes made with heart and soul. As we began to recognise how many customers are coeliac or gluten intolerant, we simultaneously longs to ensure that as far as possible, our gluten free bakery could provide them with a choice of beautiful home-made gluten-free cakes which are just as good as regular bakes.

We quickly discovered the joy of being able to offer our customers gluten free cakes which they could not find in any gluten free bakery elsewhere. We feel that it is important to support others in the gluten free community, where finding cakes which are freshly baked, gluten free, and of a high quality, can be hard to find, particularly for those most recently diagnosed or who live in locations with no gluten free bakery nearby.

We are so excited now in 2023 to be able to extend our love of gluten free baking beyond our immediate location so that many more customers can enjoy what we do, whether gluten free or not! Our signature bake in the Creamery Can is our caramel squares which we are now super excited to offer without gluten and without any compromise on taste!

In our gluten free cakes we use only the finest ingredients, butter and fresh organic eggs laid by the chickens on our farm. They do not contain any additives or preservatives, unlike most shop bought cakes. We use a gluten free flour blend which ensures the cakes contain all of the necessary components needed to create the perfect crumb. Another of our favourite ingredients is ground almonds which creates a beautifully moist sponge.
